The most intersting thing to me about Socrates is that even though he was offered to be set free, he did not take the easy way out of death by running. He showed great personal ethics by dying from hemlock poisoning.

I think the most interesting thing about Socrates is he taught his students by asking them questions so they would learn on their own.
Socrates commited suicide in front of his comrades and disciples. He killed himself with hemlock poison. Hemlock poison is made from the dried unripe fruit of the hemlock tree, a kind of evergreen.
He was put in jail because of corrupting his students' minds.
What I thought was interesting was that he thinks knowledge is a living interactive thing.
The most intersting thing to me was that Socrates never wrote anything down.
